Privacy on the Internet

                   
                    I think sharing your password could be the most dangerous things you could do online, because even if you trust that person they could share your password and then they could share it and it would just keep going on and a lot of people could know it and log on to your facebook.I think you should always put a hard to guess password on your accounts because even if you just use your name and numbers someone could easily guess that. It is always important to have your privacy settings set strong on Facebooks because Facebook gives off a lot of info about you and anyone can see it and find out almost anything they want.

                  I already knew that if you don't put a password on your phone and lose it anyone could go on it because people forget their phones places and i go on to check whose it is and anyone could go on it if they don't have a password. What I didn't know was fast food places have cameras watching you.If someone broke into the restaurant they could look at the cameras and get your licence plate number or anything.

I think by people doing this quix they would think more of how safe they are on the internet.

For digital media I use my phone the most. I use video games the least.

The Digital World

One upside about living in a digital world  is that because we are living in a digital world we all know how to use the internet and other digital devices. One downside is that we spend almost to much time in the digital world.

One upside with your relationship with others is that we can connect online. One downside is that we spend alot of time online and may not make any time for others.

One upside about society as a whole is that you can make yourself different online and make your self an individual. One downside is that people just might think we are all the same; addicted to our phones, the internet, video games ect....

I connect with others online, I talk to people that in some cases I have never even meet in person before. I do not create things online but I use the internet alot.  

Mr.Savoy's Presentation - Journal Entry #5

          Some of the things Mr.Savoy talked about in the presentation was how all of the updated and advancements in social media today, back when things like Facebook just came out you could not do too much. On Facebook all you could do was chat, and it was only available for some people.Another thing he talked about was the rules of social media sites that nobody reads and how it is important to read.

This video talks about all the bulling on ask.fm. I have ask.fm and a lot of bulling does happen on that site.I can see why this leads to suicide. I like to use the site sometimes but eventually this site will get out of hand and get shut down.

Facebook Follies- Journal Entry #4

Somethings that I learnt from the Facebook Follies video is that to be careful what you put on the internet because even if you are joking you could get into a lot of trouble. Also everyone can see everything you post on there. Every time you go onto Facebook make sure you check the privacy box before posting anything.One of the parts I liked in the video was when the burglar came and stole the laptop he posted a picture of him on Facebook. I liked this part because it was funny to see how people act on the internet. Police can almost do anything.I think its shocking how stupid some people can be when being on the internet.I would like to know more about the girl who had the party and forgot to check the privacy settings on the event on Facebook and over 1000 people showed up because I think its funny. 

I do not consider myself a gamer because i dont have the time to stay home playing games, but i do like to play some games like Zig zag and other games on the app store.

I think i am not a gamer because I cant find the time and also i do not have a lot of storage on my phone to buy and download games because i have so many pictures.

I own a Wii, but i do not use it anymore. I mostly use my phone to play some games.

I like to play simple games like Piano tiles, Flappy bird, and Zig zag.I just occasionally play them when im bored.

Something i like about Sploder is that you dont have to play super long games.

I used the retro game platform because it looked like it would be the most fun.

I thought that when creating a game saving it was pretty confusing.

I do not think game creating is something i could see myself doing in the future because im not very creative.

-I learnt from web 2.0 and cloud computing that other people can do things for you when running a business, and you can do it right from the computer.

-I found it confusing that they say your photo is secure but you don't know exactly where your photo is.

-I selected the Samsung GALAXY S5 because it is a new phone and the only phone that is waterproof.

-What I like about Google Drive is that it is very easy to use and reliable.

-I didn't find anything about Google Drive confusing or challenging.
